Hi ...Glad you found my humble blog ...I am from the United Arab Emirates , collect Mint stamps, Covers Depends on the topic, Mini and S.sheets... I have some favorite subjects , anime / cartoon charachters ( future boy Conan, Garfield, hello kitty, Inuyasha..etc), cats, culture and tradition such as costumes or traditional instuments, old phones, landscap scenes, commemorative stamps, Disney, Movies (Star Wars, Batman, Lord of the rings) stamps with stamps pics or money on them, Some historical stamps, I also like stamps with old paintings...and I do not know why but I like stamps with dugong!! yet I wont say no to any you wish to share with me .. care for a cover from UAE? 29-3-2011: from 4 to 9 April 2011 the 17th Arabian Gulf Countries Stamps Exhibition, a wide collection of stamps, Post office from all Arabian Gulf Countries are participating as well as the philatelic Assossiations are participating... Lectures .. other events are going to accompany the exhibition 21-3-2011: its Mother's Day .. Emirates Post issued a commemortive post marks for the occasion of Mother's Day :) 10-10-10: Nice date this year unfortunatly it is a Sunday which short listed the number of countries I was hoping to receive covers from on this date, except for Arab Countries Received quite good number of covers from them, still receiving depends on how fast or slow the postal services of the sender's country. I guess covers sent on this date are going to be unique as well, it would be great to have covers from different countries with poast mark of this date.
